Carrying on what the family started
Bottega Bar is a second-generation family business on Redcliffe Parade. The family first arrived here from Italy in 1982, and the standards they set then — good coffee, honest food, and hospitality that treats a regular like family — haven’t moved since. By day, that means espresso, deli favourites and easy lunches, with the imported pantry goods on the shelves feeding directly into the kitchen.
When the neon comes on
As the evening sets in, the lights dim and Italian lounge music takes over the room. Cocktails and boutique wines start moving, live music plays some nights, and the kitchen turns to share plates built for good company and warm memories — the kind of night-time atmosphere Redcliffe hadn’t had before.
